The New Radical Honesty workshop series has three levels, and is spread out over a year, with reading and homework in between the three sets of three day meetings. In addition to that, each year we have one Radical Honesty Reunion, and a week long Trainer's Training in June. If you have completed level one or its equivalent at any time, you proceed to level two in September.

The way things are supposed to go is this: After level one is completed, if you stay in for the next level, various reading and meditation assignments will be requested of you prior to attending the next training. If you enroll for level two, you give a $250 non refundable deposit and pay the additional $250 when we meet in September. There will be months between levels, and there will be ongoing coaching and mutual communication between and among participants and radical honesty trainers during that time.

Read this book, and give copies away to friends and enemies: (1) Radical Honesty: How to Transform Your Life by Telling the Truth, by Brad Blanton, and any or all of the rest of my books. Read and give the books or the CD sets of me reading them with commentary to every lying person you know. You and the people you give them to can hear the books read aloud to you in your cars while you are polluting the atmosphere and making lying fascists who kill for profit richer by the minute.

Read and give this book too: (2) The Presence Process, by Michael Brown. This is an excellent book that condenses and puts into practice the essentials of training necessary to transform your way of being in the world. And do the presence process, a daily meditation and study practice over the first 10 weeks after you read the book, and it will help you get your head out of your ass, be joyful and learn to contribute to others for your own and their mutual benefit as an ongoing source of joy. The ten weeks of twice daily meditations and contemplations will be included in our year long training, in a repetitive cycling of that content.

(This work allows us to go from personal work and inner silence to social action and back to silence again and back to the world again. As Krishnamurti said, "The observer is the observed. You are the world. Silence is difficult and arduous; it is not to be played with. It isn't something that you can experience by reading a book, or by listening to a talk, or by sitting together, or by retiring into a wood or a monastery. I am afraid none of these things will bring about this silence. This silence demands intense psychological work. You have to be burningly aware of your snobbishness, aware of your fears, your anxieties, your sense of guilt. And when you die to all that, then out of that dying comes the beauty of silence." (In As the River Joins the Ocean (1998): spoken in London, 1962). Out of that beautiful silence comes social change. This silence is precisely what Michael Brown's book and the work in workshop is about. I would like for this next couple of year's development to be a collective creation, flowing out of this beginning outline, and developing into an ebb and flow life of compassionate action and renewal for billions of us.)

Read and give (3) EndGame, by Derrick Jensen, a brilliant writer who sees civilization itself as a fundamental mental illness and perversion of humankind. This furthers the conversation and moves us to action together to depose those who impose upon us and give them a new chance at life.

Read and give (4) The Great Turning, by David Korten, a brilliant analysis of progress being made to recreate the stories we live by and a devastating analysis of the failure of previous stories. This is the source conversation for changing how the world works and converting hell to heaven, doom to prosperity and hatred to forgiveness, compassion and love.

You can read and do the practices of these four books and a few others and a bunch of movies and video we also can recommend to you, on your own. You can also join up with some of the rest of us who are practicing how to remove our heads from our asses, and we can use our new understanding and alignment with each other to change the world-maybe even in time to keep our fellow miserable dumb asses from killing off humanity and most of the rest of the species of beings on earth.

This is leadership training for change from the psyche up, to make people happier and save humankind from destroying itself. This difficult and painful and psychologically and physically stressful and intellectually and emotionally challenging course you take it in stages over the course of a year. We teach you to learn and grow and act and enjoy as best you can the turning away from the damnable deceits of the group mind disease called civilization. We plan to do this before the ship of humankind hits the iceberg of its own extinction head on, or at least so we will be leaning on the rudder to hit the iceberg a glancing blow.

I have modified the original Radical Honesty curriculum using the work of Michael Brown, David Korten, Derrick Jensen, Tom Atlee, (Tao of Democracy!) Juanita Brown, David Isaacson (World Cafe!), Paul Hawken (Blessed Unrest!) and a number of other people. By modifying and extending the radical honesty trainings to include the works of other authors, teachers and thinkers and by having an annual festival, and a trainer's training program each year, we expand the number of people receiving the benefits of this work and the number making a living from this work every year. For our little group and for our whole society, this training program in operational compassion will be life saving.

Before attending level one we ask people to read the new revised edition of Radical Honesty and test the waters by experimenting with telling the truth in their lives.

Between levels one and two participants are asked to read The Presence Process by Michael Brown and to do the twice daily reading and meditation assignments outlined over the 10 week period as is suggested in that book. They will also be asked to read EndGame: volume one, by Derek Jensen, and the novel, The Truth Machine by James Halperin.

Between Levels two and three you will be asked to read Practicing Radical Honesty and to do the exercises based on Part III of that book entitled Creating Your Own Destiny. You will also be asked to read The Tao of Democracy by Tom Atlee and The World Cafe by Juanita Brown and David Isaacson, and Blessed Unrest by Paul Hawken. There is this exciting possibility of us actually planning our futures together, committed to a common vision we formulate together, and then helping each other along the way. Finding paying work in the work will be possible here as well.

Level Three will be modified each year by the participants by us conducting a Radical Honesty World Cafe during the workshop to re-design the next year, and then we'll all go back home and enroll people in the next mutually conducted Curse in Honesty workshop series for the following year.

All three levels of workshops cost 500 bucks each. The Trainer's Training costs a thousand dollars. There will be more level one introductions than levels two and three, because we anticipate some drop outs and delays before people advance to levels two and three. The end objective is personal growth and social change of a kind than can only be accomplished and maintained through conscious people constantly recreating their lives together honestly. If we can do it we can teach it by modeling it. Each year at the Festival and Reunion we get feedback from participants at all levels and each year during the Trainer's Training we will modify the workshop.

There is still some work to be done in the design of the last two levels and the homework in between. We will be asking you to watch the movies About Schmidt and The Ultimate Gift and many other recent movies that characterize an aspect of the Zeitgeist which we have helped create and within whose context we now operate and work to further. This first year of the new program, 2008, is a little confusing because we have a trainers training in the middle of the year. The usual pre-requisite is that you have completed either the 8 day workshop or all three of the levels over three week ends, and done the homework in between. This year we will allow people to enroll in who have not yet completed the three course series if they have enrolled in level two and agreed to complete level three. Since much of the trainer's training is about how to coach and conduct the levels of training, there will be some duplication of what you are exposed to over the year.

We want trainers in charge of the program who know the work to be done from having done it in their own lives. And we want people to become trainers who are capable of responding creatively to unanticipated opportunities and demands.
