The Abuse We Must Somehow Forgive is Right Before Our Eyes (continued)

The pilot who dropped the bomb was long gone in the jet plane before the bomb hit. He used what looks like a video game in the cockpit of his plane to release the bomb. He was impervious to the possibility that any harm could possibly come to him as he made the motions to engage the release for the bomb. He concentrated on the task to engage the computerized mechanism that released the bomb.

The United States prefers machine delivered depleted uranium encased bombs---from jet planes, from behemoth tanks, from helicopters, from unmanned drones---and the conglomerate media rarely publishes photos of the carnage. On the other hand, the United States abhors the hand-delivered bombs used by the Iraqi resistance to the United States invasion and occupation of their country and their resistance to the theft of Iraqi natural resources by United States international oil, gas, and finance conglomerates. The conglomerate media publishes as many of the photos of the consequences of these hand delivered bombs as they can get their hands on.

Multiply the picture below by a hundred thousand times, the number of children killed by the United States invasion, and you will know that the United States is engaged in an unprecedented slaughter of innocents.

No matter how you cut it ---if you use Martin Luther King's biblical admonition during the invasion of Vietnam "You shall reap what you sow" or if you use Jeremiah Wright's recent admonition in the vernacular "The chickens come home to roost", the attempted suicides of returning veterans from that horrible slaughter in Iraq at the rate of 12,000 attempts a year while in Veteran Administration care and the success of those who are killing themselves at 18 deaths a day should be telling Americans something about the experience of these soldiers in the unjust heinousness of that slaughter of innocents.-----BILL
