Because of her vision for humanity, Elizabeth became a Certified Life Coach in Anti-Human Trafficking with Building Empowerment by Stopping Trafficking through the CCA - Certified Coaches Alliance.
Elizabeth considers one of her most valuable assets and tools the valuable work of “getting out of the jail of our minds and coming back to our senses” as a vital piece to empower people. Therefore, she became a Certified Radical Honesty Trainer and Coach through Radical Honesty Enterprises with Dr. Brad Blanton, to support her clients by realizing the power of honesty, inner truth and compassion. Elizabeth has become a strong advocate for the Radical Honesty movement as a way of living sharing our stories and creating authentic connections as human beings, with other beings and the world.
“These days my main goal is to not be concerned about what anybody thinks about me, and to use every minute of my life wisely. Being honest supports me on honoring these principles, and it’s the most powerful tool I have known to support my clients, family, colleague and friends to create the life they want.
Since I read the book in 2005, I realized that I was longing to be able to communicate boldly and to be loved anyway. I was too careful when speaking, and to be honesty just a coward and a wimpy woman. I spent years of my life making mistakes by doing things that hurt me just because I was too afraid to say no. I was in survival mode.
In 2008 I met my current husband, who was a strong advocate for the work of Dr. Blanton, and the practice of Radical Honesty has saved me from getting divorced for the third time. I am not an expert in the work of radical honesty. I am an expert on failing at it. This has given me the opportunity to stop pretending that I have it all together, and that I can simply notice more, think less, and live more.
I practice forgiving myself more than forgiving others. I am just very happy that now I can notice when I am hurting myself and find a way to stop it. I love my family and friends, and I want to contribute to the world. This I have to offer, I know how to fail, and I do know how to get over it and move on (most of the time).”
