This is a 7-Day Holiday-Style Radical Honesty Retreat in beautiful Northern Italy. Holiday, because we take afternoons off group work and enjoy the nearby lakes, trails, waterfalls, or villages. In the evening, after our communal dinner, we will get back together for one more Radical Honesty group session to digest and integrate the day.

What happens if we get together as a committed group to tell each other the truth?
In this 7-day residential retreat, you get to learn Radical Honesty and experience yourself in ways you didn't think were possible. You will explore how much aliveness is hidden in you, how holding back costs you the love and connection you crave and how vital and connecting conflict can be.
You get to pause your autopilot and learn to make connections based on who you are, moment to moment. You learn to ask for what you want, talk about what comes up for you, and grow your capacity for being connected to your own experience as well as with others. This is a space to celebrate our shared humanity, get over shame, guilt and anger, and live the life of play.
Two of our most experienced Radical Honesty trainers, Marvin and Jura, will guide you through the processes. You will be in beautiful Italy at the end of June, the perfect time of the year to really enjoy the surrounding forests, lakes, waterfalls, or dip in the centre’s private pool. What better environment to practice Radical Honesty!

Radical Honesty Is not brutal, extreme, or non-stop honesty.
It’s an invitation to show up in different ways and relearn how to connect with others. The workshop is an on-going transformative process that’s like peeling an onion: we strip away one protective layer at a time. For us this means learning to “lift the curtains” and let others peek behind our expressions and thought-processes.
The result is a feeling of greater intimacy and freedom to be who we really are.
There are so very few places in the world where we allow our true self to shine through. By managing the impact we may have on others, we also dim our own uniqueness and talents. Most people’s workplaces, family reunions and even close friends and relationships are based on pretenses, role-playing, and hiding. This workshop offers a refreshing holiday from your usual ways of being and a sneak-peak at what is possible for you if you get into real contact.

Our Daily Rhythm and Agenda
07:30: Morning Movement & Meditation
Morning practices include Pleasure Yoga, breathing exercises, co-meditation, and Bioenergetic exercises. We get our bodies grounded and active for the group work ahead.
08.30: Healthy Vegetarian Breakfast
09.30 Four-Hour Radical Honesty Group Experience
Our Radical Honesty group journey starts after breakfast. For four hours, we will dive into the practice. During the session, we will have revealing sharing rounds, free-flow group processes, paired exercises and lectures about the key Radical Honesty ideas and modules.
01:30: Communal Lunch
02:30 - 07.30: Pleasure Time
The afternoons are free. You can keep practicing Radical Honesty with others, take a break at the nearby lake, explore hiking trails, journal, sleep, or do whatever else you want to do.
07:30 Dinner
08:30: One-Hour Radical Honesty Evening Group Work
After dinner, we will get back into our circle for one more hour of group work. This session is dedicated to closing open processes, taking risks in verbal expression, and showing up in ways that lead to more aliveness and intimate connection with others.
09:30: (Optional) Evening Group Space
We co-create our evening program by inspiration. Here you can ask for what you want and design a pleasant experience for yourself and potentially others. Our ideas are dance, conscious touch, improv, or music circles. Feel free to bring your own ideas to the group.

About The Centro d’Ompio
The Space
The Centro d’Ompio is located by Lake Orta in northern Italy. It is set in the midst of nature, on the hillside, and has a wonderful view onto the lake. We can go swimming in the pool, in the lake (30 minutes by foot) or in the amazing waterfalls (1h by foot). We might also visit Orta, a beautiful, old (a bit touristy) town, enjoy the best ice cream in the world and take a boat to the little monastery island… of course we might also go on an outing to one of the amazing Pizzerias in the vicinity.
We will be staying in our own house (Casa Felicina), which is 10 minutes by foot through a bamboo forest, from the main house. We’ll have breakfast in our house and walk up for lunch and dinner. I, Sean, have lived and worked in the Centro for many years and am super happy to now be able to come back to this beautiful place with you!
The Centro d’Ompio has been a thriving space for healing and inner work for over 25 years.
There’s a grand piano in our “living room”. So how about we make music in the evenings, jam and sing together?
Food
The vegetarian food in the Centro d’Ompio is fresh, healthy and delicious - a wonderful blend of Italian and world-cuisine. Alessandra, our chef, has been cooking here for many years and pours her love into the food. You will receive three full meals per day, as well as coffee, fresh fruits, and other treats.
The breakfast buffet includes bread, eggs, cheese, oats, fruit salad, all sorts of muslis, juices, tea and coffee and is served in our house (Casa Felicina). For lunch and dinner we will walk up to the main house and enjoy a varied buffet. We are planning one food trip to eat some super-fresh local pizza. The cost (around 12 Euros) are extra and paid by you.

The Early Bird Price for this retreat, available until March 31st 2022, is 1290 Euros.
The regular price is 1490 Euros.
Continuous Support
After the retreat, you will receive continuous support from the trainers. You can join an ongoing community and get access to the network of Radical Honesty graduates: a fantastic resource for co-hearted living amongst friends.
Timing and Travel
Please arrange your travels in a way that allows you to be present the entire week. If you have any problems with this, let us know in advance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
No refunds, unless we cancel the workshop due to covid or other emergencies. In case you cancel, you can transfer your payment to another workshop if you let us know 30 days before the workshop starts. After that, transfers are not possible.

Workshop Leaders
Marvin Schulz, M.Sc., is one of the most experienced Radical Honesty Trainers and organizes workshops in Europe, Africa, and the Americas. As a former auditor for investment banks in New York and Executive Assistant for a multi-billion dollar company on Broadway, Marvin experienced the detrimental effects of lying and withholding first hand: at age 26, he was depressed and burned out.
“I had a promising career in front of me. However, I felt horrible and empty. None of the money I made could compensate for my inner yearning for love, connection and a happy life. After deciding not to kill myself, I opted for a Radical Honesty Workshop. After that, I still killed myself, but in a very different way: I killed my self-image and completed my past.”
He left the corporate rat wheel and embarked on his journey towards a more authentic, joyous, and connected life. He moved back to Germany and healed his own wounds by having honest conversations with important people. He cleaned up his past using Radical Honesty. Dr. Blanton invited Marvin to live at his place in Virginia for one season and certified him as a Radical Honesty trainer three years later.
Marvin has the ability to bring humor into seemingly serious processes while staying compassionate and curious. He is comfortable going into discomfort and can guide participants in re-experiencing hurt and pain while holding them in the here and now. His style is inquisitive, simple, and direct – often with a wink and never without compassion. Marvin has lived in China, Mexico, South Africa and the United States and studied cross-cultural communication. He currently resides in Prague, Czech Republic, where he produces music, drinks coffee and enjoys what he often calls the most beautiful city in the world. Jūra Glo is a trauma-informed Radical Honesty trainer and a somatic coach in relationship repair. She has led Radical Honesty practice groups since 2014 and found the largest Radical Honesty community in Europe. Currently, she has completed 4 years of developmental and attachment trauma (NARM) training, therefore, her work is sharp in precision and gentle in nature.
Jūra is trained in somatic psychotherapy, individual & couples coaching, Tantra yoga, conscious sensuality, and therapeutic bodywork. The wide range of professional backgrounds provides an accepting and playful environment to experiment and experience diverse expressions and ways of being together.
